Our brain is often described as being similar to a muscle, which means it can be enhanced by making small adjustments to how we use it. From eating the right food to undertaking regular exercise, there are lots of positive ways that you can help improve your brain power.

In fact, the Alzheimer’s Association has reported that some researchers believe that playing mentally stimulating games and puzzle games like Sudoku might be an effective way to reduce the risk of dementia.

Getting enough sleep is also essential. Try to limit watching TV or gazing at your phone before bed. Try to have some time away from using all your devices. It is also important to eat well too, so try to focus on eating foods that are known to boost brain power, such as coconut oil, wild salmon, leafy vegetables and more unusual dishes like kimchi, which is said to promote brain health.
