Quick Twinkie Strawberry (No-Bake Recipe)


This Twinkie strawberry dessert is so rich and creamy with a silky, beautiful strawberry flavor! If you like strawberries as much as I do – then this sweet treat is just for you! It is a strawberry season and you can easily find fresh strawberries on the market but if not – you can also use frozen strawberries, softened at room temperature. Here is the recipe:

Quick Twinkie Strawberry Dessert
Ingredients:

  • 9 Twinkies (or any other golden sponge little cakes with creamy filling)
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding
  • 8 oz. whipped topping (I used Cool Whip)
  • 1 ½ cup milk
  • 16 oz. fresh or frozen (thawed) sliced strawberries in sugar

 

Instructions:

  • Arrange 9 Twinkies in a 8 by 8 pan to cover the bottom.
  • Next, spoon strawberries and around ½ of the syrup over the layered Twinkies.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk milk and pudding mix until incorporated and set. Spread pudding over the layer of strawberries.
  • Apply whipped topping over the pudding layer and smoothly spread with a spatula.
  • Put in the fridge to set for at least 1 hours. Slice and serve!
