Basically, anyone could do it. Heimowitz describes Kim Kardashian as a huge foodie with a sweet tooth and her obviously, succeed it.

The Atkins 40 Diet Plan 

The basic plan of the Atkins 40 diet involves 3 food groups:

  1. Protein

Individuals on the Atkins 40 diet consume 3-4 six-ounce servings of protein a day. This can keep you full and converse your lean muscle.

  1. Fiber-rich carbohydrates

It includes vegetables (mostly colorful ones), low-glycemic fruits as cherries, melons, and berries, and nuts. You may also partly fulfill this requirement with some whole grains as black or brown rice. You can consume 6-8 servings of vegetables and 3-5 servings of other carbohydrates a day. 

  1. Healthy fats

Unsaturated fats like the kind in avocados and nuts are the best kind of fats to consume, according to Heimowitz. However, some saturated fats are ok, as well, since we are burning them for fuel. You should just avoid deep-fried foods and manufactured hydrogenated oils. On top of the fat, you actually get from protein, you should eat 3 servings of fat daily.

What happens when you follow this eating plan? The body uses fat as fuel because it does not have carbohydrates to refer to, thus, you finish up losing body fat. So, since you have got a suitable supply or protein, you still maintain the muscle. (Kim Kardashian West also works out a lot.)

Here’s how the Atkins 40 Plan works:
Begin with 40 grams of net carbs daily. Net carbs represent the complete carbohydrate content of the food minus the sugar alcohols and fiber content.
